Hanshi Jerry Piddington traveled to Atlanta this last Weekend to receive the Joe Lewis Eternal Warrior Award at The Battle of Atlanta in honor of all the decades of fighting “One More Round

When your feet are so tired that you have to shuffle back to the center of the ring. Fight one more round

When your arms are so tired that you can barely lift your hands to come on guard. Fight one more round.

When your nose is bleeding and your eyes are black and you are so tired that you wish your opponent would crack you one on the jaw and put you to sleep. Fight one more round.

…Remember that the man who always fights one more round is never whipped

Quote from Joe Corley

We were so pleased and proud to have you join us at Battle of Atlanta XLV this weekend and to join you in receiving the Joe Lewis Eternal Warrior Award. You were a great friend and sparring partner for a man who could be rough on sparring partners. Your talent, your toughness, your humility, your humor and your friendship are all much appreciated by your friend from the ATL, by Jeff W. Smith,Bill Wallace and all the other recipients. And I know Joe Lewis, Ed Parker and Jay T. Will are all looking down and smiling on you! You make us all smile!
